Every family needs a banana bread recipe… here’s ours.
For many weekday mornings, my son and I have this super simple gluten free banana bread (actually, we also like to have this lemon bread, so we kinda alternate now and again). I also like to pack it for when we go out for a snack, and it’s also great for an afternoon refuel. It’s delicious, soft, hearty and super low in sugar — so I definitely don’t feel guilty that my son and I can eat a whole loaf a day. (Which can happen, it’s that yummy.)

Something to know about me; I love lemon flavoured anything. Really, anything. (Well, except an actual lemon, funnily enough!)
So you can probably guess that one of my favourite things in the world is lemon cake.
However, eating lemon cake, with its delicious sweet and sour lemon icing (ugh, so good) regularly isn’t exactly the healthiest, so there is this “lemon bread” option. It’s less sugary than a lemon cake and more of a savoury, hearty buttery lemon bread.

Now, I’m usually not a fan of burgers, but beetroot peanut butter burgers? I could positively eat them everyday!
My first introduction to beetroot burgers was at a local joint here – my husband was ordering from this new burger place, and I saw they had a beetroot burger. Since I’m not a fan of burgers, I chose the beetroot burger. Why not? I love beetroots (as you may know, especially in beetroot juice), it sounded interesting, so I thought I’d try it.
